Just discovered that we will be holding a Birdie Bash on Sat. June 1st from 5-8 pm. This event is sponsored by Vibram. Steve Dodge, the Vibram man, will be here by 5 pm to start it off and play the round. The cost is $25, which covers the green fee, two Vibram discs, and a tee-shirt. You play 1 round on the Black Bear, only keeping track of metal hits, Aces, Birdies, and Eagles. These are awarded points, and those with the most points will get prizes!

Woodland Valley Disc Golf is Southern Maine's premiere disc golf course. Currently consisting of 36 holes with plans to expand to 54 covering 120 acres, a clubhouse and pro-shop constantly stocked with every disc manufactured by major disc golf companies and plenty of free parking. Come enjoy the great outdoors playing one of the fastest growing sports in the country.

We carry over 6,000 discs (Innova, Discraft, Latitude 64, Millennium, Vibram, Gateway, MVP, Aerobie and Prodigy) include a large assortment of ultra light discs, and are the only one who allow, as far as I know, people to try discs out on the big field for hole 1 of the Grizzly before they purchase a disc. If you ding it up you must purchase it  (that usually happens when people throw it downhill into the parking lot). We want you to be sure that a disc does what you expect it to before purchasing.

Our next Tournament is the Woodland Valley Championship tournament on Saturday , June 8th, 2013. You may preregister at woodlandvalleydiscgolf.com,  by emailing Linda at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , or calling  207-229-9825. The new weekend point league  began the  weekend of April 12th  and run 16 weekends ending the weekend of July 26-29. (our weekends consist of Friday through Monday). You must play a minimum of 10 weekends in the series to qualify for the playoffs. The playoffs will be held  Saturday, August 10th. Please let me know if there are any conflicts with that date asap.  You may play any of the 4 days, but must play with someone else in league and turn in your score card. Cost is $4 green fee, $1 CTP (of which there are 2 each week), $1 Ace Pot, and $2 for the end of the season playoff. Points are awarded based on how you performed and the total points are then used to place you in a bracket for the playoff. It is a match play off using handicaps from the series.

I have just gone through all the found discs and have update the list on the web page. Please take a moment to check even if you've never played here. I also have about 20 discs with no names that have been here for a few years. If you have lost one here please contact me to see if I have it. At the end of the month, they will go in the rental boxes.
